Being able to play something and appreciate the music of others is a fine form of expression and allows you to understand the human condition just a little more deeply, which is perhaps more useful to a child than learning the exact date a particular king died or somesuch.

  參考 答案 2 I think children should learn to play an instrument because, as I said, it's easier to get into a good university if you play one.However, playing music is generally a waste of time as you can't make much money from doing it, so it's not too important that children learn to play music.
